The hotel is a renovation of the Quarry Administration Building.
Sandstone, a material extracted in the area, became the basis and key accent detail in the interior.
The overall interior design concept is based on the connection between the exterior and interior of the building.

My task was to maximize the usable area on each floor and at the same time create a comfortable arrangement of furniture and decor for visitors.
In this interior, I focused on optimizing the space within the existing architectural framework.

On the ground floor there are a reception, a restaurant, a kitchen, restrooms and a corridor.
The design of the restaurant allows for flexible adaptation to various events, such as weddings and conferences.
To make it so flexible, the interior features a neutral color palette with natural tones.

In the reception area is a flower installation. This installation can be adapted to the changing seasons or to specific events.

On the lower floor there is a spa area with a swimming pool, jacuzzi, sauna and hammam.
A relaxation room, shower room, wardrobe and technical rooms complete the interior.
The graphite color scheme contrasts with the exposed ancient sandstone foundation, which is visible from the pool side, creating a link between the building's past and present.

Dark colors and warm lighting in the design emphasize the aesthetics of the preserved sandstone.

On the second floor there are guest rooms.
Four unique room designs were created, which were then duplicated throughout the floor, creating a unified aesthetic.
The soothing interiors use an inactive color scheme and incorporate an abundance of wooden elements to promote a feeling of comfort and relaxation for guests.

The guest corridor on the second floor leading to the rooms is decorated in graphite tones with wood and hidden doors.

The contrast between the color of the corridor and the color of the rooms emphasizes the transition from a common space to a more intimate one. This design technique creates a comfortable and elegant atmosphere that is in line with the hotel's concept.
