Using the Speculative Brand Collaboration approach, our designers studied how two local heritage brands could collaborate to deliver unique and impactful experiences to both their consumers.

Eu Yan Sang, Singapore’s leading traditional Chinese medicine company renowned for its expertise in herbal remedies, and Tiger Beer, a leading beer provider synonymous with quality and versatility.

Integrating Eu Yan Sang’s herbal expertise and Tiger Beer’s brewing skills creates a unique wellness and holistic product for a niche market. They both best represent the power of partnership and innovation in brand collaborations, with the potential to unlock new market opportunities and foster cultural exchange.

Beer as a remedy for common throat and cold ailments, although surprising, is an age-old belief that adds familiarity and credibility to herbal beer, known to many Asians as “Ang Mo Liang Teh”. This unexpected yet logical connection intrigues consumers seeking natural remedies.
