Wayfair – Wayfairliebt
This is the third campaign featuring the claim "Alles vom Deinsten. We wanted to anchor the brand in people's minds, so I developed a linguistic mechanism in the form of a poem. Wayfairrückt, isn't it?
There are over 16,000 words in the German language that begin with "VER", which rhymes with "FAIR". So we turned them into "wayfair words". "Verliebt" became "Wayfairliebt", "Verwandlung" became "Wayfairwandlung", "Verwöhnt" became "Wayfairwöhnt" and so on.
So we've launched a 30" TVC with lots of wayfair-wordplay shaped into a poem.
This linguistic mechanic will also continue for the upcoming campaign.
