In a world where inequalities are constantly increasing, strengthening cooperation and educating solidarity and empathy to recognize the value and dignity of each individual, regardless of ability or characteristics, is more important than ever. Through collective action, promoting a narrative of disability that is neither positive nor negative but a simple expression of the diversity that characterizes humanity is therefore necessary.
Poster Heroes 2023 - Beautifully Diverse invited the creative community to promote a new representation of disability.
I am here to promote a new and powerful representation of disability and draw attention to the growing inequalities in society. It is important to focus on solidarity and empathy to recognize the value and human dignity of every individual.
We know that there are no borders and that we are all candidates for disability. Beyond our chromosomes lies the diversity and uniqueness of humanity. I believe that these differences can bring us closer together and together we can build a stronger society.
In this case, we should be addressed and talked about not as this or that, but simply as human beings.
Because we are only human.
