AMAZING ANIMALS
In this student project, we were to choose an animal that we will use to create four different types of sketches of. This would include an encyclopedic, logo, gesture and transformation drawing. The animal I chose was a duckling.
Here are all four of my final drawings:
Encyclopedic drawing: this drawing is a realistic drawing of the duckling, meant to be as accurate as possible.
Logo: this logo was inspired to be my idea of a "sporty" duck. I used contrast to add balance to the duck, as well as ridges to look similar to flames.
Gesture drawing: this drawing is a very quick sketch of the duck, using swift strokes to create a 30 second drawing.
Transformation drawing: this drawing was inspired by the famous Donald Duck. As a well-known duck, I decided it was only appropriate to incorporate the famous duck into the transformation.
