Catch 'Em All!
A Pokemon centered, collision based game.
I created this project out of my shared appreciation for Pokemon. The game was inspired by an example demonstrated in class, and I knew immediately that I wanted to pursue it. However, instead of replicating the same game, I decided to give it a Pokemon-themed twist. Additionally, I aimed to enhance my understanding of collision aspects in game development and their significance in gaming.
I consider patience a skill when writing code because it requires a significant amount of it. Many things went wrong in the process, but I eventually managed to complete it on time. The states I have include the start screen, gameplay (above), lose screen, and win screen. Additionally, each background photo was AI-generated.
