When the esteemed designer Deepak Parwani presented us with his breathtaking wooden tusks. His vision was clear: to craft something truly striking for his 24-foot high entrance foyer. However, we faced significant challenges due to the size and weight of the wooden pieces, compounded by the location's exposure to strong winds. To overcome these obstacles, we employed brass-coated stainless steel caps to accentuate the tusks' form and secured pipes into the wood for added support. Throughout the process, we experimented with angles and levels, envisioning how shadows would dance within the freshly painted space.
