|Box Design| Nitendo Classic Mini
This project is devoted to a mockup design challenge: design a packaging in box form with my creative direction. Focus of this project is only to express my preference for package design as how I execute an idea.
In this case I have chosen Nitendo classic, a home video game console, as my star brand/object.
Logo
I experimented with what I called lego typography to figure out a logo. I assembled the letters together until a fitting form appeared. Since it's about the retro version of the console, I needed to make sure that information is legible on the package.
I was also trying to recreate the stacking feel, pixelate style and colour palette of the worldly famous video game Tetris, bringing the retro feel into a contemporary context.
