The RED School, is a 3rd semester project (my 2nd design). The design uses Force Based Frameworks. The final formal responses are generated through the application of 'forces'. The building is divided into 2 main building and 2 connector building. The Tallest building is stretch from east to west, with the largest surface area facing north & south, avoiding excessive sun heat and serve as the main private classroom. The second building contains public rooms, it’s a little slanted by the 'force' of qibla, thus creating a view and sound barrier to the garden behind it.
The other two secondary bulding serve as a connector, containing teachers room and labs. The secondary mass is elevated to provide view and accesibility to every corner of the building while giving space for air and daylight to pass. The resulting placement of the masses created a courtyard, as a center of orientation and provide optimal daylighting to all rooms.
