KVAD was part of a series of concepts for the balcony area. As an extended living and outdoor space of residential units, the balcony contributes significantly to the quality of living when there is no possibility of using a garden. Within the "Balkonien" project, compact and smart solutions were developed for small to medium-sized balconies and small budgets, which increase the quality of living and life and provide a relaxed atmosphere in which to unwind from the stresses of work and everyday life.
KVAD is an ultra-compact lounge-style armchair that is extremely comfortable and easy to assemble. Thanks to an intelligent plug-in system, the armchair is just as easy to assemble as it is to disassemble. It also facilitates space-saving storage out of season. Large-volume cushions and a reduced foam density emphasize the relaxed and comfortable look of the armchair and invite you to linger. Compactness does not necessarily have to be at the expense of style and comfort.
