The goal was to create a modular illustration that represented two aspects of the Port of Quebec. First, their new slogan: “From here, we see far ahead.” Secondly, it was important that this illustration well represented the transport chain that characterizes the port of Quebec, by including key elements of the port.
The brief also included a color scheme and a graphic charter based on the nautical alphabet. The goal was therefore to create a lively and human illustration, but which also respected the geometric shapes of the charter.

Vision
In order to highlight the idea of vision presented in the slogan, we created four different objects of vision associated with naval domain : telescope, periscope and binoculars.
Thoses objects also serve to create illustrations in different aspect ratio in order to better suit all use cases.
Modular illustration
In order to be as useful as possible, the illustration was created in a way that is modular and all elements can be used independently.
