This project was a school project that we had a time limit to design each poster that could be used to promote an event that would be taken place.
The whole purpose of the assignment was to see how quickly we can act in a pressured environment. We were given 15 mins to design each poster. We were provided with the information ( content, logo, and imagery ). We could choose any style we wanted and which images to use. After finished designing we had to present to the class on our design choices.

My design idea behind the posters is to make the image a strong focal point in the image, with a slight darkened texture layered overtop with a 25% opacity so the details aren't lost in the image.
I wanted to show off my personal style which was using the dashed lines to create a box within the design, I didn't want to much colour to distract the viewer from the written content and imagery. Overall I wanted to give it a balance of retro and modern style to it, which I feel I have achieved.
