Eco-friendly plant nutritional supplement CMF Project / 2024

We developed a new CMF by exploring eco-friendly mulching paper materials used in the field, and designed an idea product using it. Compared to existing nutrients thrown away as plastic waste, aesthetics are emphasized and environmentally friendly.

밭에서 쓰이는 친환경 멀칭지 소재를 탐구해 새로운 CMF를 개발하고, 이를 활용한 아이디어 상품을 디자인했습니다. 플라스틱 쓰레기로 버려지는 기존 영양제 대비 심미성이 강조되고, 더욱 친환경적입니다.

Biodegradable paper mulching paper, which is mainly used in agriculture, melts for three to six months through interaction with the water and soil. The mineral content in mulching paper has a beneficial effect on plants and is naturally decomposed. Using mulching paper to zero plant nutritional waste may be another way to achieve carbon neutrality. Mulching paper may be another way to reduce unnecessary waste.

농사에 주로 쓰이는 생분해 종이멀칭지는 물과 흙을 통해 3-6개월에 걸쳐 녹아 없어집니다. 멀칭지에 포함된 미네랄의 함유로 식물에게 이로운 효과를 주며 자연분해 됩니다. 멀칭지를 이용하여 버려지는 식물영양제 쓰레기를 제로화하면 탄소중립을 실현하는 또 다른 방법이 될 수 있습니다. 멀칭지로 만든다면 불필요한 쓰레기를 줄일 수 있는 또 다른 수단이 될 수 있습니다.

The seeds from the two blending processes were combined into a new eco-friendly material that did not exist before by properly mixing water and nutrients. After that, it goes through a molding process to be born into a single lump. In addition, natural ingredients such as gardenia, raspberry, purple sweet potato, and mugwort were used to create a natural and easy-to-see color.

총 2차례에 걸친 블렌딩 과정에서 나온 시드들을 물과 영양액을 적당히 배합하여 기존에 없던 새로운 친환경 물질로 조합했습니다. 이후 몰딩 과정을 거쳐 하나의 덩어리로 탄생하게 됩니다. 또한 천연재료인 치자, 복분자, 자색 고구마, 쑥을 이용하여 자연스럽고 보기 편한 색상을 입혔습니다.

Landmarks in each country are artifacts that best harmonize with nature and objects that are commonly recognized in the minds of people all over the world. We decided on the concept of a landmark in a flowerpot, and sublimated it into a minimal and simple design by utilizing the characteristics of the world's representative landmarks.

각 나라의 랜드마크는 자연과 가장 잘 조화되는 인공물이며, 전세계 사람들의 머리속에 공통적으로 인식된 오브제 입니다. 화분속의 랜드마크라는 컨셉을 잡고 전세계의 대표적인 랜드마크의 특징을 살려 미니멀하고 심플한 디자인으로 승화 시켰습니다.

We did clay soft mock-up and 3D print mock-ups to visually check the scale and design it.

스케일을 눈으로 확인하며 디자인하기 위해 클레이 소프트 목업과 3D프린트 목업을 진행했습니다.

PAPER LANDMARK consists of a total of six series. It consists of world landmarks that we are familiar with.

PAPER LANDMARK는 총 6개의 랜드마크 시리즈로 구성되어 있습니다. 우리가 흔히 아는 세계적 랜드마크들로 구성되었습니다.

Press the blended seeds into the molding frame and go through a compression process. Then, after a drying process, it is separated from the mold to complete the paper landmark.

몰딩 틀 안에 배합된 시드들을 밀어 넣어 압축 과정을 거칩니다. 그 후 건조 과정을 거친 후 틀에서 분리해 주면 하나의 덩어리로 된 페이퍼 랜드마크 식물 영양제가 완성됩니다.
