This project marks my debut into the realm of visual communication with the creation of a captivating storybook tailored for children aged 8-12, titled "Song of the silent river" done in IIT Delhi,2023.
Through enchanting illustrations and a captivating narrative, the book introduces the importance of environmental awareness, elemental forces, and sustainability at a very early age . The goal is to plant seeds of curiosity and responsibility in young minds, fostering a love for nature that grows with them. I will be updating this project soon.
The tale concludes with Ria returning to her village, determined to educate everyone. The closing scene paints a powerful image of an eco-friendly village, boasting abundant trees, windmills, and solar panels. This visual reinforces the strategic alliance between the elemental gods and the village – they provide energy, and, in turn, the villagers fiercely protect and nurture their environment.
