Aunque no es uno de mis trabajos más frecuentes, en ocasiones desarrollo por encargo ilustración fotográfica: a partir de una imagen real genero una situación diferente (una transformación de luz o de escenario, con alteración e inclusión de nuevos elementos). Este proyecto se desarrolló para el Jardín Botánico Atlántico de Gijón, con objeto de promocionar el programa de conciertos nocturnos de verano en un espacio en el que nunca se habían desarrollado, pero que resultaba necesario mostrar de manera atractiva recreando el ambiente nocturno, la iluminación, la terraza de verano, el público... Recreando con antelación un ambiente que no se iba a poder ver hasta la primera noche de conciertos con el fin de atraer el mayor público posible.
Para su elaboración se partió de una fotografía panorámica (original del fotógrafo profesional Héctor Torra) y de más de 200 imágenes accesorias y detalles (en su mayoría de mi autoría o de Héctor) e ilustraciones independientes creadas ex-profeso para la ocasión. Aunque el proceso es más complejo y más largo, en las siguientes siete imágenes resumo los momentos más destacados del trabajo.
Although not one of my frequent work, sometimes I develope custom photographic illustrations: from a real image I simulate a different situation (a transformation of light or stage, alteration and inclusion of new elements). This project was developed for the Botanic Garden of Gijón, in order to promote the program of summer evening concerts in a space that had never been developed, but that it was necessary to show attractively recreating the nightlife, lighting, the summer terrace, the public attending the concert ... An image recreating the atmosphere that won't be seen until the first night of concerts intended to attract the largest possible audience.
Its preparation started from a panoramic photo (original by professional photographer Héctor Torra) and over 200 ancillary images and details (mostly of my authorship or Hector) and independent artwork created expressly for this project. Although the process is more complex and longer, in the following seven images I summarize the highlights of the job.
