Wystawa

Miesiąc listopad tego 2023 roku był dla mnie jednym z najbardziej pracowitych fotograficznie miesięcy.

Jednym z powodów, że tak powiem mojej teorii, jest fakt udziału w tworzeniu oraz wystawiania swoich prac w wystawie jaka miała miejsce w Mojej Wsi Gostyń, położonej na terenie Gminy Wyry, w Powiecie Mikołowskim, w Polsce na Górnym Śląsku.

Wystawa ta miała dla mnie duże znaczenie ponieważ bardzo zależało mi aby pokazać mieszkańcom, a niektórym tylko przypomnieć, o tym w jak pięknym miejscu żyjemy.

Prace na wystawie wystawiało jeszcze dwoje innych fotografów.

Każdy z nas miał możliwość zaprezentowania dziesięciu fotografii.

Każdy z nas jest inaczej związany z miejscem przedstawianym.

Jeden z fotografów Łukasz jest rdzennym mieszkańcem z pokolenia na pokolenie, ja mieszkam w Gostyni osiem lat, a Monika, jedyna kobieta w tym gronie mieszka tutaj zaledwie trzy miesiące.

Nasze postrzeganie otaczającego nas świata było dokładnie takie samo.

To samo nas poruszyło i zwróciło swoją uwagę.

I właśnie ten fakt jest moim osobistym sukcesem.

Udowodniłem, że dom twój jest tam gdzie jest miejsce, które kochasz i nie ważne ile lat w tym miejscu żyjesz.

Kolejnym sukcesem była nauka ją wyniosłem z tej wystawy.

Człowiek uczy się całe życie i głupi umiera - tak mówią, i to jest prawda.

Dopiero na tej wystawie naszych zdjęć połączonych z wystawą Makram, tworzonych również przez członkinie naszej społeczności, gdzie osoby zajmujące się tworzeniem tych wystaw zrobiły to tak, że wszystko do siebie pasowało zrozumiałem, że sztukę tworzą  ludzie, związani z danym miejscem, jego historią i kulturą.

To oni są artystami, którzy tworzą rzeczy dla innych wyjątkowe i piękne, a dla nie chcących tego zrozumieć proste i prymitywne.

I chociaż to nie jakaś galeria wystawowa lub muzeum, a po prostu zwykły wiejski Dom Kultury, to dotarło do mnie jak wielka wrażliwość artystyczna jest w tak małej lokalnej społeczności. 

Ktoś powie, małe, skromne, bez aplauzu.

Nic bardziej mylnego.

Życzę, aby każdy mógł zobaczyć odbiór takich prac, przez ludzi dla których to czasami jest codzienność.

To była moja największa nagroda i za to jestem ogromnie wdzięczny wszystkim, którzy brali w tym udział.

Zdjęcia pokazują krok po kroku zakupione ramki, następnie miałem tę możliwość kontrolować wydruk zdjęć w zaprzyjaźnionej drukarni, potem razem z Rodzinką umieszczaliśmy te zdjęcia w ramkach.

A jak wyszło pokazują kolejne zdjęcia, choć nie jest to wszystko.

Niestety zdjęcia robiłem przed przybyciem Gości, bo potem nie było już jak :)

Wystawa odbyła się w Domu Kultury w Gostyni, była ona sfinansowana ze środków Ministra Kultury i Dziedzictwa Narodowego.

Exhibition

The month of November this 2023 has been one of the busiest months for me photographically.

One of the reasons for my theory, so to speak, is the fact that I took part in creating and exhibiting my work in an exhibition that took place in My Village Gostyń, located in the municipality of Wyry, in the district of Mikołów, in Upper Silesia, Poland.

This exhibition was very important to me because I was very keen to show the residents, and to remind some of them, of what a beautiful place we live in.

Two other photographers exhibited work at the exhibition.

Each of us had the opportunity to present ten photographs.

Each of us is connected differently to the place depicted.

One of the photographers, Lukasz, is a generation-long native, I have lived in Gostyně for eight years and Monika, the only woman in the group, has only lived here three months.

Our perception of the world around us was exactly the same.

This alone moved us and drew our attention.

And this very fact is my personal success.

I have proven that your home is where the place you love is and it doesn't matter how many years you have lived in that place.

Another success was the learning I took from this exhibition.

A man learns all his life and dies dumb - so they say, and it is true.

It wasn't until this exhibition of our photographs combined with the exhibition Macrams, also created by members of our community, where the people involved in creating these exhibitions made it so that everything fit together that I understood that art is created  by people, connected to a place, its history and culture.

They are the artists who create things that are unique and beautiful to others, and simple and primitive to those who do not want to understand.

And although this is not some exhibition gallery or museum, but just an ordinary village community centre, it occurred to me how much artistic sensitivity there is in such a small local community. 

Someone will say, small, modest, no applause.

Nothing could be further from the truth.

I wish everyone could see the reception of such works, by people for whom this is sometimes an everyday occurrence.

That was my greatest reward and for that I am hugely grateful to everyone who took part.

The photos show the step-by-step purchase of the frames, then I had this opportunity to control the printing of the photos at a friendly print shop, then together with the Family we placed the photos in the frames.

And how it came out is shown in the following photos, although it is not all there.

Unfortunately I took the photos before the Guests arrived, because afterwards there was no longer any way :)

The exhibition took place at the Cultural Centre in Gostynia, and was funded by the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage.
