Frank Gehry Posters
Designed by Beatrice Labbé
A denotative and connotative typographic poster inspired by the architect Frank Gehry.
For the denotative poster design, I wanted to highlight Frank Gehry's architectural precision. Although his sophistication is often overlooked by this unconventional and daring style, it's the crisp lines that define his aesthetic. I captured this essence by applying a grid system that allowed for a clear and balanced hierarchy.
For the connotative poster design, I wanted to emphasize Frank Gehry’s iconic style. This architect is known for his unique approach to using unconventional curvature in his buildings. Hence, I decided to use motion for my poster. The subtitle is the main element of the piece and a few of Gehry’s projects are wrapped around.
*Posters printed on 30 x 40 inches paper.
