Grupo de Estudos e Pesquisa em Populações Pesqueiras e Desenvolvimento no Espírito Santo (GEPPEDES; Academic Research Group on Fishing Populations and Development in the state of Espírito Santo) is an academic research group of the Universidade Federal do Espírito Santo, in Brazil.
Here's some photographs taken by me in the communities of Barra do Riacho and Regência (Espírito Santo, Brazil), in 2017 and 2018. The photographs portray the environment and daily lives that inhabit these locations - which are affected by the presence of large companies that influence politics, the environment, the traditions, the past and the present of these small communities.
