Using a previous analysis made of the unbuilt Villa sul Lago by Giuseppe Terragni, a new villa was created using the ideas of terracing and progressive circulation. The villa provokes the user from the start, it forces one to take a step back from one's own will and slowly rewards patience by revealing spaces that one thought could never be reached.

The entryway is inconspicuously revealed by a clearing in the surrounding forest and invites curiosity by making one circulate on the terraces created by lifting the earth. The interior spaces are generated underneath the earthly mass to create the last vertical situation of the terracing, the most intimate and introspective condition.
