This poster was created for the premiere of the opera Dido & Aeneas in Barcelona. This opera in three acts with music by Henry Purcell by the playwright and poet Nahum Tate is known as one of the most important operas of the Baroque period.
It tells the love story between Dido, Queen of Carthage, and the Trojan hero Aeneas, and his despair when he abandons her.

This action was created with the intention of breaking with the elitist image that is normally held of Barcelona's emblematic theater and bringing opera closer to the younger generations.

The Mystery of Alexina, also titled Alexina, is a 1985 French historical drama and centred on intersex memoirist Herculine Barbin.
Alexina B. tells the story that librettist Irène Gayraud came across after reading the memories of Herculine Barbin. Alexina's case, in addition to contemplated as an important source of study for a better understanding of the intersex people experiences, is also the story of a personal drama which represents the starting point for the creation of an opera really significant for our time.
