Paper mill near Chodzież

The paper mill is a small forest settlement founded probably at the beginning of the 18th century by Zygmunt Grudziński - the owner of Chodzież.
The settlement itself is abandoned and the lake is located in the middle of the forest, which allows you to relax and unwind.
There used to be a paper mill next to the stream flowing from Lake Papiernia, where paper was produced for the castle.
The paper mill is also a lake, which is a natural monument with an area of 4.29 ha, and another important natural monument is a small-leafed linden tree with a circumference of 710 cm and a height of 35 m, which has been standing here for about 300 years.
In the vicinity of the Paper Mill there is the town of Oleśnica and fish ponds where, among others, carp and trout are bred.
