Restaurant "Water Castle" in Chodzież

Chodzież is a city of three lakes, including Lake Strzeleckie with an area of 18 ha, surrounded on all sides by forest.
This is the smallest of the remaining lakes, a typical post-glacial gutter lake, on the shore of which there is a building of the former "Water Castle" restaurant.
Although today the building is abandoned and requires renovation, it was inhabited by local residents a few years ago.
The history of this facility dates back to the beginning of the 20th century, when the lake was a fashionable and frequented place, especially by visitors who appreciated the beauty of the area and the building of the restaurant itself.
One of the common rumors is that huge catfish once swam in the lake, and another is that there is a sunken bell at the bottom of the lake.
