Ramsey County embarked on a six-month project to redesign their website and marketing brochure. The goal was to highlight opportunities to be active in Ramsey County. l collaborated with the project team, comprised of Ramsey County staff and independent contractors, to plan and design the 80-page Internet site including leading planning meetings, creating design concepts, implementing the website's HTML and CSS framework, and writing/editing content for site pages. I also worked with Ramsey County staff to develop the map-size brochure promoting Ramsey County’s facilities and services to county residents.

Go Ramsey Communities
Website, Logos, and Tagline

Go Ramsey Communities is an interactive Web-based mapping application that allows site visitors to locate places to be active throughout Ramsey County such as parks, trails, and lakes. I worked with the project team to develop branding for the site, including a tagline, logos, and a color scheme. I also designed and built the landing page for the mapping application which introduces visitors to the mapping portal.

I worked closely with the owner of Sunrise Native Plants to develop a marketing plan and associated materials to promote the company among landscapers, government agencies and consumer groups. The marketing program includes a website, product catalog, promotional post cards and brochures, and trade show/expo booth materials. Each marketing piece supports the company's brand and messaging.

I worked with a Minneapolis engineering firm to re-design websites for watershed districts across the United States. The goal of each redesign was to incorporate new technologies and update visuals to create sites that raised the profile of the watershed districts among their constituencies.
