Safe Zone
Safe Zone is an illustration that talks about staying inside our comfort zone. Seeing the world from the small window in our room and painting them according to our imagination might feel safe, but it isn't going to give us the same feeling as experiencing it hands-on.
This artwork is inspired by my personal experience of having to move to a different country during the pandemic. Before moving, I was romanticising what my life would be if I live in another country. When the time came where I finally lived alone, I started to understand the struggles of living far away from your family and the occasional homesickness.
