Conducted by R/GA Singapore, our primary goal in this project was to explore immersive experience design through a mock-client brief. Named "KindLit," this group project focused on designing an interactive installation to promote skateboarding as a gender-neutral sport, emphasising its athleticism and competitiveness while drawing parallels with surfing.
Our prototype installation featured two stages. At the entrance, viewers accessed a QR code leading to an AR filter created on SparkAR, serving as both a token of appreciation for the audience and enhancing the brand's digital presence. The second stage involved a simple input-output mechanism, where the camera detected the user's motion, creating a water/wave-like effect on the designated surface, created using TouchDesigner. Throughout the five-week process, we underwent ideation, conceptualization, prototype testing, and execution to develop the final product.
