University of Belgrade - Faculty of Architecture
First year of architecture studies, second semester
Course: SPACE AND SHAPE
Location: ruins of the unfinished Museum of the Revolution, Belgrade, Serbia
The project is inspired by the work of Vjenceslav Richter, Croatian architect who presented the plan for the Museum of the Revolution in the 1960’s. By researching more about his work I stumbled across a book called “Synthurbanism”, an utopian suggestion for a modern city. The correlation between this project and the one I did is simply keeping all the functionalities in one place. This also indicates the transformation of a macro to a micro plan.
This pavilion is meant to change form as well as function.
