The H. Neil Mallon Award Dinner is the World Affairs Council of Dallas/Fort Worth's biggest annual fundraising event. Every year, an individual is honored for "promoting our region’s international profile."

The recipient of the 37th award was Kay Bailey Hutchinson. The goal with her design suite was to highlight her long and historic place in Texas and U.S. politics. We were limited in the number of photos provided and the images ranged greatly in quality, so I created a custom gradient map affect in Adobe Photoshop to be applied to all the photos. This helped create a central color scheme for the photos, while adding a little grace to lower quality of older photos.
