Snap! is an interactive installation/surveillance system that generates a pattern of pictures according to the user’s facial structure.
This project aims to involve visitors in a real-time experience; they can trigger the surveillance camera when they are located in its close proximity.
This installation uses Open Frameworks to extract the video input from the laptop's camera and to generate an archive of pictures of those visitors who have similar facial features.

Snap! was exhibited at “B R O* W* S* I* N* G “ Internet Archeology @Atelier 35 and UNA Gallery in Bucharest.

Participating artists: Tabor Robak, Ryder Ripps, Jacob Broms Engblom, Benjamin Lotan, Arran Ridley, Hector Llanquin, Scott Ostler, Kacie Kim, Alli Crawford, Jerónimo Jiménez, Joel Ritch
