After completing the 5th Ave Bungalow project, the owners of this home just a few feet away wanted to restore their home as well. They contacted Design Styles Architecture to help with this endeavor, as it would require some major structural and architectural changes to the home. First, the entire main residence was raised four feet from it's original height to meet building code and its structure was inspected and repaired or replaced as needed. The intent was to keep the architectural style intact while adding square footage to the home, which meant building towards the water. This gave the home a total of three bedrooms and three bathrooms. A totally redesigned kitchen with spacious island, separate dining space, and living with direct access to a porch with beach views make this home a very special restoration. In addition, the guest house above the two-car garage was totally renovated with a large living space, bedroom, and two bathrooms.
