As I studied sustainability and climate design in my Masters program, I kept coming back to the question: Why don't I know this already?

It seemed like the topics and themes I was learning about in my graduate program should be taught by default. All these questions started pestering me.

Why wasn't I taught about climate change as a young learner?
Why isn't climate change a requirement in all education curriculums?

What is stopping climate themes from being taught?

Who has the power to bring climate education into the classroom? 

What are the benefits to environmental education?

To begin the search for these answers, I designed this infographic to lay out the current information and knowledge on environmental education and the "trailblazers" involved.
