Telkom FreeMe Radio Campaign
When Telkom wanted to promote their new prepaid bundle offering, they tasked us with conceptualising a radio campaign that would have reach and resonance with their target audience. This audience spanned nine provinces and 11 languages, so no one-size-fits-all approach was gonna be enough. To achieve the desired result, we assembled some of the best comedic writers, each representing one of the 11 official South African languages, to write radio spots that were singular in mind yet nuanced in linguistic, cultural and regional insights. The end product was a bespoke radio campaign that achieved all business objectives and exceeded projected sales.
