Un festival urbano
El objetivo de El Jardín Secreto es fusionar vida social, espacio urbano y comercio local para invitar a la gente a compartir sus proyectos e ideas. El espacio elegido en la ciudad de Murcia es el Parque Fofó, un jardín que se caracteriza por su gran lago, sus puentes y sus áreas de descanso.
Mi idea para esta animación fue combinar la impresión visual que causan las pérgolas del parque con la sensación de que algo nuevo está emergiendo en él.

El Jardín Secreto's goal is to fuse social life, urban space and local commerce and to invite people share their projects and ideas. The chosen place is el Parque Fofó in Murcia city, a place well known for its lake, bridges an rest areas.
My idea for this spot was to combine the visual impression of the pergolas in the park with the feeling that something new is about to emerge.
Comenzando: Moodboard y bocetos
Para introducir el concepto, planteé estas imágenes estáticas, dando más protagonismo a la primera y a la última, que ilustran acertadamente la sensación que quería transmitir; acompañadas de algunos bocetos sobre lo que quería hacer.

To introduce the visual concept for the video, I presented these still images, giving more space to the first and last ones, which perfectly encapsulate the feeling, along with some sketches of the kind of thing that I wanted to do.
El storyboard
Entonces empecé a trabajar el storyboard, aspecto más importante antes de la creación del vídeo.

El style frame
Este style frame sirvió para aprobar la idea y dejar claro cómo quería usar los colores de la marca.

I presented this single style frame to approve the final idea and to make clear how I wanted to use the brand's colors.
Workflow con Cinema 4D
Creé varias esferas icosaédricas invisibles y apliqué Cloners sobre ellas que generarían las hojas de los arbustos.

I created various deformed icosahedral spheres that would remain invisible and applied Cloners in Object mode from simple discs to create the leaves of the main bushes.
Como nota, señalaría que para crear los árboles de ambos lados y simular su volumen, decidí dejar las formas originales visibles con un material verde estándar.

As a note, I would point that to create the trees in both sides and simulate their volume, I decided to apply a cloner in them, but making the deformed shapes visible with a standard green material applied to them.
