Didcot Gateway: Land to the south of Didcot Parkway train station is identified in the Didcot Garden Town Delivery Plan as a redevelopment site. The development will create a high-quality new gateway into Didcot, providing up to 265 new one to three-bedroom homes, including market and affordable homes, and new areas of open space as well as office, café and retail uses. Development will provide much needed housing in one of the least affordable areas of the country for home ownership, as well as bringing about the transformation of an underutilised site to create a more vibrant gateway into Didcot. The development will also help to create a clearer link to the town centre and improved walking and cycling routes.
