This was my assignment for my typography course where I had to choose a social justice topic and make a booklet containing information about it. I chose adult illiteracy because it's not a topic you hear very much about, and I felt like it needed to be addressed.

With this booklet, I chose to draw cartoons for the inside pages. I wanted to evoke nostalgic thoughts about the 50s-70s time period in cartoons. I chose a style similar to the Pink Panther, Hannah Barbara, and UPA.
