The I-sah’-Din’-Dii Housing Development is located within the Mescalero Apache Tribal Reservation on land abutting natural forest areas. Thirty new homes and a community center are situated adjacent to an existing 32-unit development and connect to the nearby K-12 school. Many of the housing units and the community center have an east entry, which is the traditional orientation for ancestral nomadic Apache dwellings.
