L'Isola del Tesoro - Treasure Island

Cover and a few black and white illustrations I did for this project. Pirates stories are my favorite! And Treasure Island is one of them.
I already had in mind the cover, I wanted the reader to be "involved" in the scene and I liked Long John pointing gun at the reader.
I started with a sketch.
I wanted to give the idea of an island and I wanted to keep the blue and yellow colors on the trees and clouds; the changes I made were only in the sky, cane and the parrot.
