This is a custom type design made for personal work. I latched onto the phrase for a few months as a reminder to accommodate other's emotional reactions when giving advice.

The font is made to be quirky and initially difficult to read in a way that reflects navigating emotional nuance when collaborating with others. Below is the process taken from original sketch to a digital recreation. It felt airy and unrefined so the words were stretched with varying line weights. The resulting funky appearance went through a few graffiti-esque variations before settling on a modern flat design.
