This study is concern with the culture of conserving and the approach of it, is sustainability. As the impression of learning in childhood is long-lasting, children were chosen as the target group for this research. The aim was to encourage them to respect more to the environment and learn how to save the valuable sources. The main principle of sustainable design is to establish a balance between environment, society and economy. Saving energy is a vital issue, that plays an important role in stablishing this balance. The culture of conserving refers to beliefs, orders, values and behaviors that substantiate the concept of conserving. In modern world, collective culture and awareness have been recognized, more than any time in the past, as elements that serve to be crucial for sustainable development. Amidst all these, designing serves to be an effective and influential tool insofar as development of culture is concerned. To this end, however, and for the purpose of building and developing the culture of saving, extensive studies were conducted in this research work concerning sustainable design, culture and the role that children can play as end users and consumers.
