Lấy đi tự do là một hình phạt đặc trưng đối với người tù, tuy nhiên để thực sự khiến họ trở nên tốt hơn thì như vậy là chưa đủ.

Nơi nhà tù, những khoảng không yên bình rất hiếm hoi, sự tự do trong tâm hồn bị giam lỏng. “Hy vọng” sẽ sinh ra từ những nơi tạo cho tù nhân cảm giác bình tĩnh và ôn hòa nhất. Việc đem đến hy vọng cho tù nhân bằng một không gian kiến trúc là thử thách chuyên môn với chúng tôi. Nghiên cứu một trại giam tại Xuân Lộc, Đồng Nai, Việt Nam và trân trọng giá trị chữa lành trong văn hóa Thiền của người Á Đông. Chúng tôi đề xuất không gian Thiền trao “Hy vọng” cho người tù.

Không gian Thiền Định hòa nhập vào không khí tắm rừng của tre. Hòa hơi thở vào tự nhiên, soi mình trên mặt nước tĩnh mịch cùng một cấu trúc mái đá biểu trưng cho những gánh nặng, u sầu, nó kích thích trạng thái nhắm mắt và tập trung vào hơi thở. Họ bắt đầu Thiền.

Không gian Thiền Định là không gian đủ ưu tú về mặt cảm xúc, nơi chúng tôi trao hy vọng cho những tù nhân, mong muốn họ sẽ trở nên tích cực và hòa nhập.

1. Site là khu đất cảnh quan nằm trong khuôn viên chung của nhà tù XuanLoc.

 3. Giao thông mạch lạc Giới-Định và Tuệ là hy vọng

 4. Mặt nước là tấm gương phán chiếu hình ảnh con người.

 5. Đá biểu trưng cho gánh nặng, u sầu, nỗi buồn của con người

 6. Tắm rừng cùng tre, đối với người Việt tre biểu trưng cho cốt cách, tâm hồn thanh tao, nghị lực và sức bền bỉ.

In spite of the fact that law taking the freedom from the prisoners, it is not enough to make them better.

Tranquil space in the prison is always lacked. The freedom, which come from the depths of being is confinted to prison. “Hope” will  appear if the prisoners have peace and calm of their mind.It is a great challenge for us to give “Monument of Hope”to the prisoners. Our case study is Xuanloc Prison, Dongnai, Vietnam. After researched carefully about them, and Zen - Asian meditation, we found  an Asian meditation Space which gives hope to the prisoners.

Asian meditation Space is integrated in “Forest Bathing – Shinrin Yoku space” of the bamboos. Intertwining with the nature, the prisoners are illuminated themself on the water. A special rock is the major structure, it presents the sadness and  true repentance. It is hightime to practice Zen. The sun gives them warmth and light, the blue sky pampers them and this space gives them peace of mind.

Asian meditation Space is one of the most comfortable ways for the emotion. We beliver that  Hope is barely begun there, positively and intergratedly.
