Layla - Boss Design
Layla was my first project for Boss. Set as an interview brief and completed as an initiation into the company.
The aim was to produce a minimally styled but detailed range with clean lines and balanced proportions. The upholstery had to be firm with a comfortable sit.

The range was launched in 2008 and was accepted as a fresh look to the portfolio. It soon developed into one of our core products, outselling any other piece of upholstery in our collection. Layla was a success, so we decided to increase the range by adding modular units.
