The purpose of this short animation is to demonstrate mental health issues, trauma and the chaos that ensues. I chose this piece of music due to the emotional significance of lost love and betrayal which I tried to portray through the characters and disjointed and chaotic imagery. The jarring mix of colour, movement, form and music create a sense of unease, indicative of my mental state. However there is also a softness in the animation, which I think comes in part from my use of colour, the entanglement of dream like images; the hand touching the sky and the water has a gentleness to it that is entwined with my more complicated response to lost love.
