This Housing design is intended to create a private residential domain within a campus setting that reflects
comfort, aesthetics and the requirements of its inhabitant
[Context]
The project envisages design of staff housing – low/mid-rise - located in land parcel of approximately 10 acres within a private multi-disciplinary Deemed
University campus.
[Design USP]
The main focus of the design was achieving the concept of livebility and creating a strong sense of private space in conjunctive equilibrium with the campus.
• Integrate architecture of the built and the open spaces in correlation with the existing master plan.
• Create hierarchy of spaces within the apartment unit, block/tower and the entire layout.
• Emphasize on the particulars of context including space, activity, connections, scale, and the footprint
on the site.
• Conscious attempt at an inclusive design for children, elderly and working members.
