Skull photos were traced in Adobe Illustrator and pieces scaled to life-size measurements from researching the animals. The pieces were printed on a plotter, spray glued to cardboard, cut out, and assembled to created a frame. The frame was then built out with aluminum foil and masking tape to keep them light. The horns and antlers have a thick wire armature, also built up with foil, masking tape, and textured with string and foam caulk-saving cord. The skulls were then skrimmed with tissue paper and white glue for a solid, paintable surface. Skulls painted by Olivia MacKeen, cloaks stitched by Wardrobe department.
