The current need for empowernment owners to be online with a laptop on corpnet (in order to review, approve, and update deals) leads to reduction in deal velocity due to stoppages in deal submission and post-submission processing while awaiting for approvals to be made (average waits=32 hours).
Solution:
Create a phone/tablet app that offers authorized MOPET approvals the ability to remotely provide real-time approval for time-sensitive deals while on-the-go/or when they don't have access to MOPET on corpnet.
