A legendary race of 2400 meters, the 101st edition of the Grand Prix de l'Arc de Triomphe took place on Sunday, October 2 at the Longchamp racecourse, in the Bois de Boulogne, on the West side of Paris.
The 101st edition of the Qatar Prix de L'Arc de Triomphe saw the best English thoroughbreds, the fastest race on the planet, compete against each other.
After more than 100 years of existence, the Grand Prix de l'Arc de Triomphe is considered the most prestigious race in the world. It has been awarded the Group 1 label, the highest level of excellence in horse racing. The best jockeys associated with the fastest horses in the world competed in a spectacular and highly anticipated event.
Enthusiasts from all over the world gather to witness in person this event. 

At Longchamp, fashion meets sport with a copious serving of sophisticated dining and champagne. This event is a celebration of European society.​​​​​​​
Fashion is the rule. Female spectators are prompted to wear dresses of modest length, so chic dresses and suits are paired with matching coats. The standout, of course, are the hats. here is also an eclectic mix of hats and hairstyles that catch the eye.

The total prize money for the event is €5,000,000 with €2,857,000 for the winner, €1,143,000 for the runner-up and €571,500 for the third place winner.
