“In a Box” is an animation installation based on a song with the same name and displayed by video mapping techniques. The dominant atmosphere in this song is a box that a man is enclosed within it. The box emphasizes the fact that the man is entangled. The presence of the man inside the box can symbolize the limited frameworks that he has caught up with. However, by expressing man's thoughts and imaginations, the song throws us into a dream-like space. Accordingly, the most crucial element in the process of conceptualization is the contradiction between the reality that the man is involved in and the imaginary spaces of a man's mentality. I tried to apply synesthetic montage principles to create an audio-visual flow in which all moving images are translations of musical elements.
