Art for activism. Historically, art has always played a significant role across social movements in championing the rights and welfare of the oppressed. This remains true today, even in the age of social media — but not without a bigger challenge.
With various content competing for peoples' shortening attention spans, the challenge is always upon the artist-activist to transform thought-provoking messages into eye-catching materials. This collection of social media cards produced from 2016 to 2019 is the product of my attempt at creating content that educate, provoke and take a stand.
