Editorial Spread Design
Client: Tiffany & Co.
Ask: Worked at a Chinese magazine publishing company as a Graphic Designer back in 2012 and this is one of first editorial spreads I was assigned to for a well-known jewelry brand. The brief was to showcase the holiday gift collection of that time of the year, as well as making sure the look and feel being close to the brand look. With the given guidelines and materials, the idea of my design is to strike a balanced, clean yet eye catching layout. My attempt is to bring focus to the product images and copy explanation of each piece of the jewelry as supporting elements. I also found that the three-column layout allows more breathing room and less text-heavy.
