This is a visual enhancement project for a literature schematic figure. Radiofrequency ablation (RFA) is often used to treat hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) of either smaller size or number. Imaging guidance is often involved in such procedures. The illustration needs to depict the use of an ultrasound system during CT-guided RFA to monitor the ablation process. It was done in a cartoon style to simplify an otherwise rather complicated procedure.
