1900K Street High Rise Development


1900K Street high rise development is a 13-story office building located in Washington, DC's central business district. Designed by Cesar Pelli in 1996, this multi-tenant building has a rich history of providing ready access to a multitude of services and amenities to local community members.

Smithgroup was asked to develop a visual identity and wayfinding signage system as part of a larger renovation project for Hines real estate.

Project Goals & Design Process

Develop visual identity that compliments the elegant and curvilinear design aesthetic already established throughout the entire building while also layering in key wayfinding navigation that actively builds on itself to lead the user on a dynamic journey to their destination.​​​​​​​
